Safety & Hygiene

Our Hygiene Measures

Travel relaxed and stay safe

Wash and disinfect hands

All our buses are equipped with hand sanitizers located near the entrance. We ask you to clean and disinfect your hands before entering the bus.

Mask requirement and safety distance

Please wear your own mouth and nose protection for the entire journey and keep the necessary distances when boarding and alighting. Please note that only masks with the FFP2, KN95 or N95 standard are permitted.

Breaks

During the entire bus journey, we take sufficient breaks to ventilate the bus and visit the toilets.

Baggage and seat assignment

Baggage is only loaded and unloaded in the luggage compartment by the driver. For buses with 2 doors, boarding is via door 2. After the front seats are occupied first, the bus is then filled up row by row. On buses with only one door, the rear seats are filled first, then one row at a time. If the booking situation allows it, the passengers should be spread out in the vehicle as far away from each other as possible. Changing seats should be avoided.

Ventilation in the bus

Our buses have the most modern air conditioning systems with powerful filters and direct fresh air supply, which completely exchange the air on a regular basis. Further information (PDF)

Beverages

Drinks will only be served by the driver/tour guide with disposable gloves and mouth and nose protection. Drinks can be purchased on the bus if you notify them in advance when booking. However, we would like to point out that there is a legal ban on alcohol on the bus.

Bus cleaning

After each journey, the bus is cleaned in compliance with the Covid-19-related hygiene standards.

Diseases

If you show symptoms of a respiratory disease at the beginning of the carriage or if you have had contact with someone infected with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, you are unfortunately excluded from carriage. The same applies to returnees from risk areas. If the symptoms appear while driving, you will be separated from other people and you must break off the bus journey as soon as possible. In particular, any contact with other people must be avoided and a minimum distance of 1.50 meters must be maintained.
