All about the booking

The price is calculated individually, as each journey has different requirements.
Factors influencing the fare include
  • Date and duration of the journey
  • Total kilometres
  • Required vehicle size
  • Fees for possible additional services (e.g. second driver for long journeys)
You will always receive a customised offer tailored to your requirements.

Yes, your enquiry with Autobus Brettschneider is free of charge and non-binding.
The booking only becomes binding once you have confirmed it.

  • You send us your travel details: Date, time, itinerary, number of people and any special requests.
  • We will prepare a customised offer within 48 hours. The processing time refers to working days.
  • After your confirmation you will receive a booking confirmation.
  • Before the journey, you will receive all the relevant information - for example, the driver's contact details and organisational information.

In principle, bookings can also be made at short notice. We endeavour to reliably take on even spontaneous trips. The earlier you enquire, the larger the selection of available vehicles - especially for larger groups.

The route and stops are verified - as far as possible - by our scheduling department on the last working day before the assignment. If the route is not passable or there is no possibility of turning round, the route or the stops must be adjusted accordingly. If you are not sure about your planning, please contact us. We will be happy to help! We are not responsible for your route or the stops you have planned. Please note the correspondingly large vehicle dimensions and weights.

The bus driver is responsible for the vehicle and the safety of the passengers and therefore has the final decision on site.

We are not liable for any subsequent costs resulting from unsuitable stops or routes.

We would also like to explicitly point out that the final decision on whether the route is passable rests with us or the bus driver. Statements from third parties (restaurants, event locations, hotels, etc.) regarding the route's passability do not change anything.

We offer a wide range of vehicles for almost every group size:

  • Saloons and minivans: up to 6 people
  • Minibuses: 16 and 24 seats
  • Coaches: 33 seats, 46-50 seats, 55-59 seats, 68 seats
  • Double-decker buses: up to 82 seats

Note on the exact number of people: For group sizes close to the capacity limit, we absolutely need the exact number of passengers - for example, exactly 50 people instead of „approx. 50“. This is the only way we can ensure that a suitable vehicle is used.

Accounting

Yes. Our standard cancellation conditions are as follows: 

  • Up to 7 days before the agreed travel date: no cancellation fee 
  • 6 to 1 day before the agreed travel date: 50 % cancellation fee 
  • Less than 24 hours before the agreed date of travel: 90 % of the agreed fare 


Deviations from the above conditions are only effective if they have been agreed in writing in advance.

Payment and invoice processing is based on the domicile or registered office of the commissioning company. 

Customers with a residence or company address in Germany: 

The invoice will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking once the journey has been completed. Payment is made upon receipt of the invoice. 

Customers with a residence or company address outside Germany

You will receive a proforma invoice by e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided before the journey. Payment must be received in full before the start of the journey. After the journey has been completed, you will receive the final invoice with VAT shown, also by e-mail. 

Please specify any different billing addresses (including a different e-mail address) at the time of booking. Please also inform us of any additional details on the invoice, e.g. order number, project number or cost centre, at the time of booking.
Our modern fleet offers - depending on the vehicle type - among other things:

  • air conditioning 
  • Comfort seats 
  • Safety belts 
  • Luggage racks and reading lamps 
  • microphone system 


Many vehicles are also equipped with: 

  • On-board WC 
  • USB or power sockets 
  • Refrigerator 
  • Tables 
No. For safety and insurance reasons, our vehicles are only hired out with a driver. Our drivers have the necessary licences and extensive experience in travel.

If your billing address is in Germany, you will receive the invoice approximately 7 days after the service. If you are based abroad, you will receive a pro forma invoice before the trip. Payment must then be received no later than 2 working days before the trip. After the trip, you will receive a final invoice that is valid for tax purposes.

Yes, you can pay by bank transfer or credit card.
The additional fees for credit card payments are 3%.

General questions

Our scheduling department will automatically send the driver's contact details to the contact person on file by e-mail on the last working day before the service, by 5.00 pm at the latest. Please refrain from enquiring in advance. The driver's details are not available before this time and therefore cannot be communicated in advance.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. 

We are also available for urgent matters outside these times.

Our emergency number (24/7) is 089/9077839-11.
 
Important note. The emergency number is intended exclusively for acute emergencies that require immediate intervention. For all other concerns, please contact our team during office hours via the regular contact channels.
No. We do not currently have wheelchair-accessible or barrier-free vehicles. Passengers must be able to board independently.
Pick-up at Munich Airport - bus car park (Terminal 1 & 2)
 
  • By default, pick-up takes place at the bus car park of the respective terminal (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2).
  • Pick-up points at the Munich Trade Fair Centre: Download PDF.
  • The bus will be ready at the bus park 30 minutes after landing.
 
Collection at the terminal (after customs and passport control)
 
  • Alternatively, the driver can pick you up in person at the terminal after customs or passport control. A clear collection sign is required for this. The collection label can contain a name and/or a logo. Please let us know in advance which name or logo you would like to appear on the collection sign, or provide us with the corresponding sign.
  • If you are picked up at the terminal, the driver will be there 20 minutes after landing. 
  • We charge a surcharge of EUR 25.00 for collection at the terminal.
We are prepared for technical incidents. If a vehicle breaks down, we organise a replacement as quickly as possible and ensure that the journey continues with minimal delay.

Pick-up points at the Munich Trade Fair: Download PDF
 
We can only drive to the pick-up points approved by Messe München. We will receive information about which pick-up point is possible from the trade fair approximately one week before the trade fair date. We will then inform you accordingly. If you do not receive any information, please contact us!
Extension of the order / journey time
 
A spontaneous extension of the order is only possible by prior arrangement and requires that no subsequent orders are affected and that the assignment remains within the legally prescribed driving and rest periods.
 
If this is not the case, we reserve the right to use or withdraw the vehicle as planned. In this case, there will be no reduction in the agreed hire price. We cannot accept any liability for any consequential costs arising from this.
 
Therefore, please always book the maximum required operating time.
The planned end of the journey can be found in your order confirmation.
 
If an unplanned extension is possible in individual cases, this will be charged additionally in accordance with the conditions of your order confirmation.
 
We will be happy to support you in advance with questions about realistic scheduling.
Please do not use Google Maps as a guide, as the times given there for buses are often not realistic in practice.

Yes, snacks and drinks may generally be taken along and consumed. Normal and responsible alcohol consumption is also accepted. Please note: Safety first: Passengers whose behaviour endangers safety may be excluded from continuing their journey.

Damage and cleaning

Damage caused by alcohol consumption, heavy soiling or additional cleaning work will be charged to the client. Consideration for other passengers and the bus equipment is assumed.
